HANKELOW PARISH COUNCIL



Minutes of the Meeting held 7th November 2005.


THOSE PRESENT :- The Chairman, Cllrs. Hulme, Cope, Hill and Mottershead also present was 1 Parishioner.


The Minutes of the Meeting held 4th July 2005 were read and being accepted signed by the Chairman.


MATTERS ARISING.


  1. FOOTPATH BY THE NOOK.


The Clerk reported no progress despite having received a letter.


  1. THE POND.


Cllr. Mottershead said that he would hopefully look at it during the next few weeks.


  1. DISTRICT COUNCIL BOUNDARIES.


Cllr. Hill had attended a meeting and reported on proposed changes to the Wybunbury area. He suggested that the Parish Council should write to the Boundaries Commission requesting that Hankelow should be in the Audlem Ward and not in Wybunbury. The Clerk was requested to write to the Boundaries Commission.


  1. CHRISTMAS TREE.


Cllr. Cope said that Mr. Horton would collect the tree on 3rd December. He said that Mrs. Durrant had obtained 300 bulbs at a cost of £70 which the Amenities Society were paying for.

Mark Preece had put in the concrete base and electric plug free of charge.

It was proposed to erect the tree on 4th December.


  1. CORBROOK COURT.


The Chairman gave a brief report on the letter received from Morris Group saying that hopefully the path would be re-routed and re opened at a later date and they would write to us again.


ACCOUNTS.


Cheques were raised as follows :-

J. SCOTT ¼ YEAR SALARY AND EXPENSES. £ 155.66

HACKER YOUNG £ 82.25

K. MOTTERSHEAD DUCK FOOD. £ 20.00




A.O.B.


  1. Cllr. Cope reported on the Public Hall improvements including stripping and re coating the floor. The Committee Room had been renovated to a very high standard.

  2. Cllr. Hulme said that the new owners of Ball Farm were concerned about the potholes in Hall Lane outside their gate where the old grass triangle used to be. The Clerk was requested to write to Highways to see if this was their responsibility.

  3. Cllr. Mottershead said that some more filling was required on the track over the green. It was agreed that some stone be purchased.

  4. It was also agreed to pay Cllr. Mottershead £20 for a further supply of Duck Food.

  5. Plans accepted by the Borough Council since the last meeting were as follows :-

Woolfall Manor Farm - Stables.

The Granary – Change of use of paddock.

Dairy House Farm, Austerson.

Plans had been refused for the Golf Course Driving Range.


There being no other business the meeting was closed with the date of the next meeting fixed for 6th February 2006.
